Goodbye Reservations Release Day Party – 16th September:
BECCA CAMPBELL is a twenty-three-year-old woman who will do great things in her life.
But—that’s her future.
Right now, the year is 1999.
While the world is concerned with surviving Y2K, Becca’s focus is trying to make it through the darkest year of her life. She’s lost both of her parents in a tragic accident, bills seem to be piling high, her car is on its last leg, and she’s trying to save for nursing school. No matter how many hours she works; she can’t catch a break. NOTHING in her world is going right.
That is, until, Mr. Tall, Dark, and Pompous walks into her life, turning it right-side up, no matter how much she fights it. He is everything she didn’t want to need and everything she now realizes she can’t be without.
This is the beginning of Becca’s epic journey:
Experiencing great love.
Absolutely loved this prequel! This is the back story of Becca. This is the story that made her the woman she was in The Lost & Found Series. The story starts as she is a young woman trying to find her way. She is independent and trying to stand on her own. She works too much as she is trying to support herself while pursuing her nursing degree. Her world is busy but she has plans for her future. Sometimes when you least expect it, your world can get turned upside down. This book is great and I can’t wait for Part II! Five big stars!
One final note, you absolutely must read the series before the prequel.
**ARC given in exchange for an honest review.
I am a domestic engineer (born and raised in NJ) whose sole responsibility is to guide three young, impressionable kids into becoming phenomenal adults. This challenging yet rewarding work requires a lot of love (coffee), patience (wine), and determination (periodic exorcisms). I work this magic from the beautiful state of New Hampshire.
Before becoming a domestic goddess (not really), I spent over a decade in the medical field, where I wore more hats than the Queen.
I have loved the written word and the great escape it provides since I was a little girl. When I wasn’t reading about people and the places they lived, I was creating my own characters and adventures.
Finding myself again through my writing in The Lost & Found Series, The One, and The GEG Series has been nothing short of a dream come true. Also, it makes people feel better when I laugh randomly or talk to myself, knowing it’s my characters and not “the voices” . . . that would be creepy.

What happens when you’re attracted to the wrong person?
I didn’t expect to feel so drawn to my best friend’s father when I first meet him.
It’s unexplainable and most of all, it’s unexpected. He drinks too much, is rough around the edges, and is so obviously into casual sex and nothing more, but there’s just something about him that calls out to me.
I’ve thought my heart was battered beyond repair, but maybe I have been wrong.
“There was something so sexual, so carnal, so intense in the way Jensen looked at me.’’
She is my son’s best friend and I know he wants more, but I can’t help it. Whenever she is around or her name is mentioned I’m turned on. I’m not used to denying myself to feeling so strongly for a woman so young, but she gets me.
I can’t do a damn thing to stop these feelings.
No amount of alcohol helps.
I didn’t think it could be possible to feel so drawn to a woman, but it looks like I have been dead wrong.
“I want her to want me just as madly as I do her.’’
They shouldn’t and yet…
They can’t resist each other.
*Warning! This book is for readers over 18 due to the frequent drop of the f-bomb and explicit sex scenes.
