a14a2-synopsis

When Gavin saves Corabelle from her plunge into the frigid waters of the Pacific, he knows her recovery from pneumonia is only the beginning of their journey. They share a difficult history — a teen pregnancy, a seven-day-old baby who died of a heart condition, and his decision four years ago to leave Corabelle behind and not look back.

But there are no secrets between them now. As Gavin and Corabelle build a new future together, they learn to trust each other again, falling back on that love they have shared since they were children.

But their past has one last shocking surprise, a revelation that will shake their tender bond and pierce the heart of Corabelle, who has just begun to believe that she truly is Gavin’s only forever love.

Forever Loved is the heart-wrenching conclusion to Corabelle and Gavin’s passionate story.

4494d-reviewBook #1, Forever Innocent, was one of the most emotionally charged books that I have read.  This follow-up book is just as emotional.  Gavin and Corabelle’s story continues as Corabelle attempts to recover from severe pneumonia.  Gavin stands by Corabelle through it all, even when her parents arrive and her father tries to push him away.  It seems that this couple that is fighting so hard for each other continues to run into obstacles at every turn.  This book will take you to the edge and back multiple times but will have you pulling harder than ever for Gavin and Corabelle.

This second book continues to delve into Corabelle’s mental stability and her ability to continue to get to the point that she can live a normal life.  I really enjoyed the character of Tina in this book and loved the friendship that she and Corabelle share.  Their shared tragedies made it easy to share with each other.  She was a rock for Corabelle throughout the book.  This book is a continual growing experience for both Corabelle and Gavin.

If you loved book #1, you will love this one too!  If you haven’t read book #1, then get it now and read it first….without it, you will miss so much of the story of this beautifully scarred couple.  Deanna Roy did an outstanding job of creating another book that I could not put down.  I shed tears but so enjoyed the growth of the two main characters.  Five stars for this second book!  Great job Ms. Roy!
